Kadmeera (First Concept Sketches)

Now would you look at that? I'm already staying true to my New Year's resolutions and try to draw more often...there's still something to come, later. I know, I can't afford to get involved in another project, but my husband and some other dude recruited me for a game they're making, and I didn't have much of a say in this XD
(Anyway, as long as it helps me improve, and they will help me with my stuff later on, I won't complain, lol.)
Each of us three designs one of the female companions the main protagonist is going to get, so here goes the first concept art of my character and a bit of shameless self-advertising^^'
The game is going to be a visual novel with hentai stuff in there, by the way. So for everyone who's interested in that kind of stuff, I'll leak a bit of info.
It will play in a world where humanity had advanced far enough to transform themselves into other species, their choices depending on their potential/compatibility and personality, as well as their benefit for society. And, of course, it's a good excuse to put lots of monster girls in there, ha ha
It starts in a school where the youngsters learn everything relevant, including transformations, and have to decide for one of their compatible races in the end. Each main protagonist has three individual options in terms of species.
My character, Kadmeera, obviously has the possibility to become a djinn (upper right), a crystalline being (lower left) or a moth-thingy (lower right). The one in the upper left corner is the human base form, like the closeup illustration in the middle too.

It's not final though, this design. A few details might be subject to change still, especially about the crystalline form. I had to redraw it once completely, because some things didn't sit well with me yet. Also, I need to get myself some new ballpoint pens, because the ones I used sucked...can't wait for my new tablet either, as I'm dying to resume drawing digitally and practice more. Lots of pics for the game and for my own projects have to be drawn after all
Done with ballpoint pen, obviously, and took me some hours. I hope you like it.
